Farm families pursue diversified organic farming in Negros Occidental Province, Philippines.



Flora, daughter of Sebastian Chuwa, African Blackwood Conservation Project coordinator for Tanzania, holding a mpingo seedling from the organization’s tree nursery as supported by several Cottonwood grants.




A Cottonwood grant helps Eco-Garden in Kenya to protect a spring well serving 100 households as well as to train small farmers in organic gardening and sustainable environmental management, providing them with tools and vegetable and tree seeds.







A Cottonwood grant helped Environment and Community Development Organization in Nepal purchase a plastic water tank for a primary school as well as repair community drinking water systems.







Some of the participants in an environmental working camp in Ganja, Azerbaijan organized by the Association of Young Azerbaijani Friends of Europe.






As part of Friends Service Council, Nepal’s Women Empowerment Project funded by Cottonwood, 24 women were trained in noodle making as an alternative income generation option.





A Cottonwood grant enabled Fundacion Ecologica Tercer Mundo to construct a small laundry house in Nalpe, Ecuador, using mostly volunteer labor, which will help to protect the water quality of the Rio Vite as well as to serve as a useful amenity for the community.





A $750 Cottonwood grant to Outreach Asia built an entire one-room schoolhouse (including desks) for the education of the children of Vieng Hin Village, Laos.
